American Canyon Veterinary Hospital is committed to providing state of the art veterinary care for your pet through the proactive use of the latest medical knowledge and modern equipment to ensure peace of mind for you, knowing that your pet is receiving the best care available.
We are a single doctor practice with a growing support staff of including a practice manager, assistant manager, 2 CSRs, and a highly qualified assistant. We are full service, small animals, fully equipped with digital radiology, digital dental radiology, full surgical suite, ultrasound, and a recently added therapeutic laser. We have a special interest in reproduction, brachycephalic breeds, orthopedic rehabilitation, as well as routinely perform the common dentals, spays, neuters, mass removals, etc.
Applicants must be enthusiastic, and willing to learn and grow as veterinary medicine continues to improve and advance. Must be able to perform routine surgical procedures. Our practice runs on a paperless system using Avimark, applicants must be capable of using computers for electronic medical records.
Must be a strong team player. This position requires someone that will become personally invested in their position within the practice and who genuinely cares not only about the patients and clients, but the practice and team mates as well.

Due to the recent pandemic we are currently not allowing the general public into our practice. All services are curbside and communication with our clients is directed to our app or the phone. All staff members are required to wear a mask at all times while in the practice. You can be assured that we take the highest precautions to protect the physical and mental health of our staff.
Requirements:
- Current California license
- Excellent communication skills with staff and clients, a positive attitude, and the desire to stay up to date on today’s veterinary medicine. As well as the desire to work in a small, busy practice with a relaxed atmosphere.
